Kabaddi Betting Basics: Markets and Scoring

Quick Summary

  • Kabaddi scores through raids and tackles, which makes totals and handicap markets easy to understand.
  • Typical markets include match winner, point handicap, total points and first-half results.
  • Scores can swing fast, so live prices change quickly; learn the sport before betting.
  • Check BEE999's sports section for kabaddi coverage, which we have not confirmed.

Kabaddi is a fast contact sport from South Asia in which raiders cross into the opposing half, tag defenders and return before being tackled. It is hugely popular in the region, and betting sites that serve Bangladesh often list kabaddi alongside cricket and football. If you understand how points are scored, the markets are very approachable. As BEE999's official partner, this guide explains scoring, typical markets, and how to read the odds sensibly.

How points are scored

Two teams of seven players on the court take turns sending a raider across the center line. The raider tries to touch defenders and return to their own half within a single breath, chanting the word kabaddi. Each defender touched earns the raiding team a point, and if the defenders tackle the raider, the defending team earns a point.

Some leagues add bonus points for crossing a marked line, and teams can lose players temporarily, then bring them back as points are scored. Because there are a lot of points scored by both sides, final totals tend to be in the tens, which is a very different scale from football goals.

Common kabaddi markets

The market names follow the same logic as other sports, adjusted for the scoring:

  • Match winner: pick which team wins, with a draw offered as a third option in some competitions.
  • Handicap: a team receives or concedes a number of points, such as minus 5.5.
  • Total points: whether combined points will finish over or under a listed line.
  • Half-time result: who leads after the first half.
  • Team totals and winning margin ranges, where offered.

A hypothetical example

Imagine a match listed with Team A at decimal odds of 1.60 and Team B at 2.30. These numbers are invented for illustration. A ৳100 stake on Team A returns ৳160 if they win, which is a ৳60 profit. The shorter price for Team A reflects a higher implied chance of winning, as explained in our odds guide.

Now suppose the total points line is 62.5. You do not need to pick a winner. You are simply backing over or under that number of combined points. If the match ends 34 to 31, the total is 65, and over wins.

What to know before betting

Kabaddi results can turn quickly, because an all-out, where one team loses every player on the court, brings bonus points and returns the removed players to the court. Squads, injuries and formats also vary between competitions. Look at how the competition is structured, including how many halves it has and how a tie is handled.

Be careful about information quality. Stats websites and replays help, but rumors on social media do not. Nobody can offer a sure outcome, and tipster claims of one are a red flag.

Live prices and limits

Because kabaddi moves quickly, in-play prices change from raid to raid. If you plan to bet during a match, read our live betting guide first so you understand suspensions and delays. Whether BEE999 offers kabaddi markets is not something we have confirmed, so check its sports section. Set a stake limit per match and review the responsible gaming page for tools to help you stay within it.

Questions Players Ask

How many players are on court in kabaddi?

Seven players per team are on court at a time, though squads are bigger and substitutes rotate in. Revivals allow a team to bring back players who have been put out as points are scored.

What is an all-out?

An all-out happens when one team has no players left on the court. The other side earns bonus points and the removed players return. It can change a match result very quickly, which is why in-play prices move so much.

How does a total points market work?

The site sets a line, such as 62.5. If the combined score of both teams is higher than the line, over wins. If it is lower, under wins. A half-point line means no refunds.

Does BEE999 accept kabaddi bets?

We have not confirmed this. Look in the sports section of the site or app after signing in, and read the market rules for each match before staking anything.
